This ornament was created in Iznik, Turkey by dedicated artisans and Syrian refugees, providing employment opportunities for men and women who have fled civil war.
A couple felt called by God to begin an olive wood business. They employ Turkish locals and Syrian refugees who are learning the trade together and turning the discarded trees into beautiful gift items. The olive wood project is also promoting education, unity, and love – just like SAT-7.
