My car got totaled Saturday afternoon
I got rear ended on Saturday, waiting to turn off the main highway. The guy's insurance lapsed and the insurance company will not pay for the accident. Had to put my 1990 Cadillac Seville back on road. It has NO muffler system and leak in gas tank amongst other things. Missed work today and not worth me trying to get a LOA to get my situation taken care of. I will take demerits for what I missed but have to go back to work tomorrow and deal with the stiffness and soreness and see my insurance agent after I get off work. It could have been worse. There could have been oncoming traffic, the gas tank could have ruptured, and so on. Thank God for seat belts.
So glad my daughter lost so much weight. Otherwise we would not have been able to get my groceries out of the trunk. I still had the "severed foot" halloween prop in the trunk of my car and I can't type what my daughter said when she saw it. It's funny now but seeing it in the trunk right after a major car accident, wasn't so funny.
